This virtual tour was interesting and engaging! I have learnt more about Japanese sake and the city of Handa. The student tour guides used a variety of methods to carry out the tour, such as through video and presentation slides. There was a live translator who helped bridge the language barrier and eased the communication process for everyone.

The student guides were well prepared and shared with us the history of Japanese sake through a video which they filmed at a sake brewery. In addition, they also explained to us the different types of sake that exists and recommended food that go well together with the different sake types. They also shared with us sake recipes that we could try at home, such as mixing milk and sake together.

What surprised me the most about the tour was that they insisted on having Japanese sake delivered to our houses in order for us to join them in their online drinking party. This was truly a very nice gesture and it allowed participants to immerse ourselves in the tour fully.

I really enjoyed this interactive tour about Sake from students in Handa which is known for Sake. I love how we got to learn a lot of knowledge of the process of making sake such as the different animal's names for the tools they use so that children can remember what they are. I also love how we learned different ways of using sake, in cocktails or even cosmetics. Hearing from the locals made this experience even more authentic and it really helped me appreciate Japanese culture even more. I would highly recommend my friends to join this tour as you can learn so much, drink sake and have fun all at the same time.
