At the Kutaniyaki Art Museum, you can learn the production process and history of Japan’s traditional “Kutaniyaki” art craft. The museum consists of 5 different spaces made in the image of “Kutani Gosai”, the 5 different colors used in the making of Kutaniyaki art. Each space has it’s own different exhibition contents for you to enjoy. In the “Navy Blue Room” and “Vermilion Room” you can find the permanent exhibition of masterpieces from the Edo period. In the “Purple Room” and “Green Room” you can find special feature exhibitions, and in the “Yellow Room” you can find a study space where you can learn about the production process of Kutaniyaki art. Also, Kutaniyaki Art Museum is also made with the concept of being “friendly and welcoming to all visitors”, with great fully equipped permanent exhibition pieces that are barrier-free and internationalized.
