Niseko Takahashi Dairy Farm

Food & Drink
Free Admission

Hokkaido is famous in Japan for its fresh cow milk and the Niseko Takahashi Dairy Farm is a great place to taste some fresh, local milk products. On site there are baumkuchen, yoghurt, cheese, cake and ice cream production facilities in addition to souvenir shops, a cafe and a restaurant that will satisfy all your dairy product needs. If you are interested in getting more active, you can participate in ice cream making workshops that are held twice a day. According to the official website, the Takahashi Farm was born out of the desire to feed and treat cows better by providing good soil and good grass. The owner had previously witnessed illnesses and premature deaths of cows in Hokkaido caused by malnutrition and bad farming conditions during the time of milk price struggles, and wanted to change these practices.
