Things to know

The Omoide Soko Museum is a small museum of retro curiosities from the Showa period (1926-1989). The museum recreates an old-fashioned and nostalgic atmosphere with furniture and design from the period. It also includes the maboroshi shotengai or 'phantom shopping street' with fake store fronts. It is located in Ozu, Ehime Prefecture and is certainly worth a visit for its quaint atmosphere if you happen to be in the area.
