The Shiranoe Botanical Garden in Kitakyushu, Japan is located on a hill overlooking the sea. In the garden, cherry blossoms bloom as early as February. They are known as the “Kanzakura,” translated as cold cherry blossoms. The park is known for its vast collection of cherry blossoms, totaling to 60 varieties and 800 trees. There are even some that blossom in the autumn, as early as October. Although the main peak is in the spring, around April, it is a wonderful park that allows you to see cherry blossoms half of the year!
