Yonago Waterbird Park is an internationally famous waterfowl habitat in Daisen-Oki National Park. It is a perfect spot for birdwatching. It is one of the largest places that have over 75,000 migrating Anatidaes arriving every year. Moreover, it is a valuable area with precious animals and plants including endangered species such as submersed plant dwarf mondo grass and an aquatic insect called appasus. At the nature center in the park, people can observe birds using telescopes and binoculars. People can also see the spectacular frontal view of Daisen amazingly contrasting with waterfowl resting place called “Tsubasa Ike” in front of Daisen.
