1Takayama Inari Jinja Shrine
Takayama Inari Jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine powerfully blessed by the gods of abundant harvests, safety at sea, and prosperity in business. The many torii gates lined up one after another leave a strong impression, and are worth seeing for yourself. The blessings are diverse and varied, including peace and prosperity in agriculture, commerce, industry, fishing, household, recovery from disease and protection during convalescence, and casting off evil spirits; the shrine is supported both by the efforts of people in the local area and from assorted religious communities across the country.

2Tachineputanoyakata Museum
The Tachineputanoyakata Museum is a facility where you can see tachineputa floats. The floats are actually used in a traditional event called the “Tachineputa Festival” held in early August every year in Goshogawara City. A tachineputa has a height of about 23m, which is equivalent to a seven-story building, you can see its grand appearance at close range. In the museum, screenings are done of scenes of actual festivals, and live performances of lion dances are carried out, so you can get a feel of the festival.

3Tsugaruhan Neputamura Village
Tsugaruhan Neputamura Village is a facility full of things to see and experiences, such as Tsugaru-jamisen, the local handicrafts of Tsugaru, and not least the Hirosaki Neputa, which have been designated as important intangible folk cultural property. "Neputa" is the name given to the summer festivals that take place all over Aomori Prefecture.

4Oirase Gorge
The Oirase Gorge, which runs about 14km from Lake Towada to Yakeyama, is protected as a special scenic spot and a natural monument. Along the mountain stream, there are roads and promenades where you can take a stroll while enjoying the beautiful scenery, such as rich forests, powerful waterfalls, and mysterious clear streams.
