This tour leads you to the highlights of the Kumano Kodo.
Kumano Kodo is an old pilgrimage route to three shrines in the mountains of Wakayama Prefecture. It developed as a road connecting sacred sites in the southern part of the Kansai region and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Kumano Kodo Trail attracts many tourists from Japan and abroad because of its unexplored nature and mysterious atmosphere.
In this tour, you will wear ancient costumes and take pictures with the ancient road in the background. We will also visit the Nachi Falls, also a geo-site, and its 133-meter drop is quite a sight to behold!
待ち合わせ場所
Your guide will meet you at the Katsuura station.
It takes about 4 hours from Shin-Osaka to Katsuura Station by limited express train for about 7,000 yen.
From Katsuura station, we will take a hired taxi to the sightseeing spots.
(Transportation fares for a guide and guests are not included.)
( Guide lives in Osaka so please add 14000 yen for a round trip transportation fee for a guide )

You will wear ancient Heian costume and stroll around Daimonzaka area of Kumano Kodo.
Costumes for men, women, and children are available, so please enjoy this event with your family, couples, or friends.
It will be a special and unforgettable experience for you!
Daimonzaka tea house staff will dress you.
It takes 10 minutes for selecting , 10 minutes for dressing,around 1 hour for walking around and photo. -
2World Heritage and National Scenic Beauty
The waterfall is 133 meters high and more than 10 meters deep, and the volume of water flowing down is said to be about one ton per second.
Upstream of this waterfall are Nichi-no-Taki and San-no-Taki, collectively known as Nachi-no-Otaki, and are designated as a national scenic beauty spot.
