What we'll do

If you know Kagurazaka, you can be a connoisseur of Tokyo! Kagurazaka is a long slopping street which fascinates many Japanese. The reason why is this spot has long history back to Edo era, around 17th century and is famous for nicer shops and restaurant such as Japanese sweets, Kimono, traditional tools and so on. There are many alleys which include "hidden" authentic traditional restaurants where some politicians and celebrities come for secret meetings. And also some winding narrow back streets might make you feel you are in a fairy tale! We walk in some shops and visit one of shrine designed by a world famous architect, Kengo Kuma. Let's go more inside in Tokyo and good luck!

    Walking one of the "hidden" back street for adventure. There are some name restaurants.

  • Atamiyu, which is Sento, public bathhouse

    Learning what sento is and looking at the construction from outside and history.

  • Tansuya, Kimono shop and Toushien, Japanese plates and utensils shop

    Visiting or shopping in Kimono and the Japanese ceramics shops which have been developed in many varieties of beautifully designed and styles.

  • Iidabashi station

    There is a part of moat and gate of Edo castle which was built more than 300 years ago.
