What we'll do
This is great tour for foreigners who want to enjoy Japanese night culture at Izakaya restaurant and “snack bars”. In Japan, there are a lot of restaurants which serves delicious Japanese food. We take you to an authentic Japanese popular Izakaya restaurant tucked away in a back alley around Shimbashi. Also, Japan has so many snack bars which are like European pubs, and you can enjoy drinks and karaoke there with local customers. Definitely, “snack bar” is one of Japanese unique cultures. However, they aren't well-known to foreigners, and it is hard to go by themselves because they need a guide who can translate. This tour is unique as we include “snack bars” in addition to Izakaya. Let’s enjoy Japanese night culture with us!
About"Snack bar"
"Snack bar" is a type of small eatery that is unique to Japanese nightlife culture. Typically, the establishment is run by a female owner and provides alcoholic beverages and light snacks. Customers can enjoy their time there by chatting with the owner or other patrons, singing karaoke, and having a relaxing time. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The snack bar became popular in Japan during the Showa era, and it remains a beloved nightlife spot even today.
■First stop: Izakaya restaurant
You have 5 dishes and 2 drinks. We give a lecture about “Japanese snack culture”.
■Second stop: Snack bar
All you can drink and you have some snacks. Enjoy Karaoke together.
■Third stop: Snack bar
Enjoy three drinks, some snacks and Karaoke including communication with local customers.

17:20 Let's meet at Shimbashi station (In front of the statue of the steam locomotive）
17:30-18:30 Izakaya restaurant You can have 5 dishes and 2 drinks.
18:30-19:00 We will take a stroll around the nightlife district of Shimbashi including the Karasumori shrine.
19:00-20:00 Snack bar All you can drink and you have some snacks. Enjoy karaoke together.
20:00-21:00 Snack bar Enjoy three drinks, some snacks and Karaoke including communication with local customers.
