#6 Lake Shinji
Lake Shinji is the seventh largest lake in Japan with a circumference of about 47 km.
The sunset over Lake Shinji was selected as one of the 'Top 100 Sunsets' of Japan. It is a symbolic landscape of Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, which is said to be the city of water.
In the morning, you can see the beautiful view of the white fishing boats as they gather Shijimi clams, and you can enjoy the Japanese atmosphere such as summer fireworks.
There are also places where you can enjoy seafood from Lake Shinji and hot springs.
