Saijo in Hiroshima is known to be one of Japan’s top sake brewing districts, and each year at the beginning of October the “Sake Festival” takes place. At the central park “Sake Hiroba”, breweries from across Japan gather, and you can try more than 1000 different types of Sake all prepared for this festival and its many visitors! Along with your sake, the town’s main street is lined with food stalls, that sell a multitude of snacks and foods that all complement the sake very well! |
