Opened in 1969, Hakone Chokoku no Mori Open Air Museum became Japan’s first outdoor museum. Located in the popular hot spring town of Hakone, the museum features approximately 120 modern sculptures, including by Henry Moore and Rodin. Yet it is the Picasso Pavillon that steals the spotlight.
