The Ikuta Ryokuchi Park of Kanagawa prefecture was created in 1941 as part of the time's emergent urban planning efforts. In this vast area you can appreciate a rare green space, which can be so hard to find in Japan's metropolitan regions. There are some cultural facilities which are quite popular with families, including the Fujio F Fujio Museum (commemorating the creator of the Doraemon manga), Taro Okamoto Museum of Art, and a number of traditional houses and workshops.
