Ishinomori Manga Museum, also known as Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum, is a museum in Ishinomaki dedicated to Japanese comics. It was built in honor of the famous manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori (1938-1998) who created Kamen Rider. He was originally from Miyagi Prefecture. The museum had been badly damaged by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami but has since been repaired and reopened. If you are fan of Ishinomori's mangas, you should definitely check this one out.
