Made under the concept of being “Everyone’s Olympic Museum”, The Japan Olympic Museum lets you interactively learn about the Olympic Games. On the first floor, which has free entry, the Olympic Movement is promoted from many different angles in the “Welcome Area". There are also talks events and exhibitions, workshops and a plethora of other activities planned in the “Welcome Salon”. You can also deepen your knowledge even further in the “Olympic Study Center” there too.

Then, on to the second floor (entry fee required), which is broken up into 8 different “corners” to make the “Exhibition Area”, all kinds of interactive content themed around “Discover, learn, feel, try and think about the Olympic Games” is prepared for you to enjoy. Find easy to understand introductions to how universal rules used all around the world for all the different categories/sports were made in order to maintain equality, and the transition of participating countries took place, as well interact with exhibits through touch panel screens etc.

This spot isn’t only a place where can learn about the Olympic Games in Japan and the rest of the world, but also where adults and children alike can enjoy themselves through all kinds of different interactive activities.
