Manzamo Cape is one of the most scenic spots in Onna Village situated in the north of Okinawa prefecture. The cape's point where a rock resembling an elephant can be seen has become a popular photography location among visitors. It is said that the origin of the name lies in the fact that the King at the time has praised it as a “meadow that can seat as many as 10,000 people.” (Man means “10,000,” za means “seat,” and mo means “meadow”). From the north part of Manzamo, you can relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the East China Sea.
