Mt. Washuzan located in Kurashiki city in Okayama is a small mountain with a famous beautiful view of the Great Seto Bridge and the many little surrounding islands. Its night view in particular has been called one of the best 100 night views in Japan. The Great Seto Bridge is the bridge that connects Okayama (Honshu) to Kagawa(Shikoku) and is the longest two-tiered bridge system in the world. Mt. Washuzan also provides great views of the Setonaikai National Park, which is famous for being Japanese first ever national park. From the observation platform to the top of the mountain takes about a 30 minute walk.
