Nikahokogen Highlands is a hilly area around 500m above sea level which spreads out across the northern base of Mount Chokai. The spacious pastures, the lush green lakes, marshes, and wetlands of various sizes, the flowers that bloom in each season and the shape of playful jersey cows make for a pastoral and enjoyable scene. From the plateau you can look down upon the vast Sea of Japan, in the distance overlooks the Oga Peninsula, and if you look back you can see the Ouha mountain range and the beautiful Mount Chokai right before your eyes. Enjoy the 360° panorama view.
