Nishinomiya Jinja Shrine is a lesser-known Shinto shrine in Nagano Prefecture that is visited by locals to pray for success in business. It was founded in the 17th century to extend the spiritual powers of the deity enshrined at the original Nishinomiya Shrine in Hyogo to Nagano and benefit local businesspeople. Next to the prayer hall are statues of the Ebisu deity, which are called Oyobessan in the local dialect.
