Inside the grounds of the Shizuoka Sengen Jinja Shrine, there are three shrines where various Japanese gods are deified. They are the guardian deities of Shizuoka, and their worship is said to bring benefits such as longevity, business prosperity, and academic achievement. It is known as a shrine related to general Tokugawa Ieyasu, as well as a cherry blossom spot for the numerous cherry blossoms blooming in the spring. Large numbers of Japanese tourists visit this shrine during the holidays; to see it, if not to pay their respects to the divines.
