Tokoji Temple is a Zen Buddhist temple located in the woods of Hagi city, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It was founded in the late 17th century and its architecture follows Chinese Zen Buddhist models that were influential among the Obaku Zen sect. The temple is of historical significance for housing the graves of many members of the Mori clan who governed this domain during the Edo period (1603-1867).
