The highlight of this trip is definitely the beautiful scenery of the mountains and townscape. Spring, we will stroll under cherry blossoms blooming along the local river. Summer, we enjoy the greenness of rice growing in the fields under the sunlight. Needless to say, the autumn foliage is beautiful. We will see the mountain slopes turning red and yellow. Finally in winter, we will see the mountains sleeping silently under a layer of snow.

The Children's Museum is a children's playground located in the beautiful mountains of Tamba Sasayama. You can touch traditional Japanese nostalgic toys or toys from various parts of the world.There will also be picture books, workshops, puppet shows, and art exhibits. This is actually where the local children spend time after school every day.

There is a restaurant in the Children's museum where you can eat local Japanese school lunch including Teishoku, Udon-noodles, Japanese curry and so on.

There are countless small pottery shops dotting the valley surrounded by mountains. Many of them are potteries with a history of several hundred years that have been passed down from generation to generation, and each one produces works with different styles and characters.
