Things to know

Kamakura, is a little city surrounded by mountains and the sea and is famous for having the bronze Daibutsu (Great Buddha) statue. The Kamakura Daibutsu Hiking Course is great cultural day out, the attractive hiking trails spotted with quaint temples and shrines to stop off at on your way, whilst enjoying nature. The wooded trails connect Kita Kamakura with the Dabutsu state, and takes around an hour and a half to reach.
