The Nachi Waterfall in Wakayama Prefecture is one of Japan’s three most famous waterfalls and, with a drop of 133 meters, it is Japan’s greatest waterfall. It is considered a sacred waterfall and is the main object of worship of the Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine. The scene of the water dropping down can be seen from afar and is a truly impressive sight.
