Taiko Lab is one of the world's largest Japanese taiko drum schools. There are two locations within the Tokyo Metropolis, and wide range lessons are offered, with classes for both beginners and advanced drummers. The interior design of Taiko Lab Aoyama, a studio specializing in Japanese taiko, was planned by Yanagisawa Takahiko, who was also involved in the design of the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and Tokyo Opera City. It is a modern space equipped with lockers and stretching rooms, and trial lessons for Japanese traditional drumming are available. Advance reservations are required for trial lessons, so please apply on the official website.
