Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum located in Kobe city in Hyogo prefecture is a carpenters dream! It was opened with the objective of collecting, preserving and exhibiting carpentry tools used over Japan's history and to teach people about them as a form of cultural heritage. The museum itself is a work of art with beautifully designed architecture which can only come to life at the hand of the carpenter, with spectacular wooden works scattered throughout the museum. The museum also stores and displays thousands and thousands of different tools of the past, and you can learn about the history of this Japanese artistry. Marvel at the incredible human ingenuity and the power and cleverness of human hands at this rare museum!
