Tsunoshima Island is a little island with a population of around 900 people located floating in the Japan Sea northwest of Yamaguchi prefecture. The attraction to Tsunoshima Island is its beautiful white sands and the glistening emerald green sea. The coastline of northern Yamaguchi which includes Tsunoshima Island is registered as being part of the Kita-Nagato Kaigan Quasi-National Park in which the island is particularly reputed as being beautiful.
