Lake Okutadami is a huge man-made lake, which is the second biggest in Japan. It came into existence as a result of the Okutadami Dam, in Niigata, Japan. This magnificent reservoir makes for quite the picturesque spot, with great contrasts with the surrounding mountains and greenery.
