Seeing Shibuya scramble crossing from the ground is one thing, but having a birds eye view of the iconic landmark is a completely different experience. I got a better sense of just how many people use the crossing on their daily commute. If the observation deck in Shibuya Sky is too high then there are plenty of other places that overlook the crossing. One of my personal favourites is the conveniently placed Starbucks above the multimedia store Tsutaya. I'm giving it three stars because seeing it once was enough for me. After that it begins to lose its lustre. Especially when you use it on a semi-regular basis; the wow factor disappears quickly when you're trying to navigate through waves of people moving in the opposite direction.
