Izumo Taisha Shrine is a Unesco World Heritage shrine and one of the leading shrines in Japan. It is also featured prominently in ancient Japanese myths, and you get to learn about its rich history when coming here for a tour. The making of Japanese red seals and charm are popular as the Shrine is known for throning the God of Marriage. It is said that Gods from all over the country gather here in the 10th month of the lunar calendar, and spiritual energy is also said to be stronger.
