Takachihokyo Canyon is perhaps one of the most beautiful areas to visit in Miyazaki, with lush greenery, beams of sunlight and waterfalls that you can see up close by renting a small rowing boat. Another must-do is the Sun Messe Moai statutes, which are the only full replicas of the Easter Island originals permitted to be made, located along the beautiful tropical coast of the Nichinan area. They can be found in a little amusement park facility called Sun Messe Nichinan.
